NRRL Culture Collection

 

NRRL is the largest publicly available collection of microorganisms in the world, and distributes thousands of microbial cultures to scientists in more than 40 countries in an average year.  These cultures are critical to ARS research and have contributed to scientific advances described in more than 63,000 publications and 7,000 patents.
