Construction began in late March, 2005 on the ~7,000 square foot addition to the Cereal Disease Laboratory.  The new addition will include two 750 square foot laboratories, a common prep lab, a BSL-2 containment facility for working on exotic pathogens, as well as a large common office and a conference room/library. Construction of the new addition is expected to be completed by December 2005 or January 2006. (Scroll down to see construction pictures.)
