Broadening a search

Broadening a search

Select or enter search criteria for first search request.  Then, to broaden the search, press the "Click here to broaden ...." button and enter additional search criteria.  This process can be continued until the search has been broadened as needed.

For example, let's say you want to view nursery entry 8 in the 2007 NUWSSN and also would like to see Ernie, Truman and Freedom.  You would select nursery NUWWSN, entry no 8, and year 2007, then click on the "Click here to broaden...." button and select nursery NUWWSN, line Ernie, and year 2007, then again press "Click here to broaden ...." button and select nursery NUWWSN, line Truman, and year 2007, and finally press the "Click here to broaden ...." button and select nursery NUWWSN, line Freedom, and year 2007.  Lastly, press the "Click here to perform search...." button.  A new screen will appear with the search results.  To sort the records, click on:

Click here, then press....

A pane will open on the left side of the window with the sort tool.
