Profile Soil Moisture

There are 3 soil profile sites near each flux tower. Each site has 3 Hydra Probe (soil moisture & temperature) sensors at the following depths: 1 foot, 2 feet, and 3 feet.

There are 8 additional soil profile sites in the North vineyard.  Each of these sites has up to 5 Decagon 10HS sensors at the following depths: 0-4", 8-12", 16-20", 32-36", and 48-52". Four of these profiles are also equipped with passive capillary lysimeters.

The sensors have been operating since 2013, with a few short breaks due to power (or other issues).
