Signing Memo of Understanding

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Environmental Protection Agency and the Mid Atlantic Regional Water Quality Program signed an agreement to enhance research coordination to improve the health of the Chesapeake Bay. The ceremony was held outside the historic Log Lodge at the Henry A. Wallace Beltsville (MD) Agricultural Research Center.

Unmanned Airborne Vehicles

The day long event featured presentations, demonstrations, and tours to showcase the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center unique research contributions which promote agricultural production systems that protect soil, water, and air quality.

Unmanned Airborne Vehicles (UAV's) are used for remote sensing to help define crop requirements for precision agriculture
