The North Atlantic Area of ARS will be an organization whose programs are accomplished at the highest levels of quality, productivity and impact, by a workforce whose composition is determined solely by individual merit, free from distortion by other factors. The North Atlantic Area workforce will have a diversity which reflects successful efforts by the Area and other organizations to provide opportunities for career preparation and pursuit that are equitable over all segments of society, and free from bias by race, gender, disability, religion, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation or other condition not related to individual merit. The accomplishment and delivery of North Atlantic Area programs will be enhanced by this workforce diversity.
