CHEMICAL SPILL
In Case of a Major Chemical Spill/Release
- Help the injured to the emergency eyewash and shower
- Alert others
- Avoid tracking spilled material
- Dial 911 or 1-4040 (by cell phone)
- Close all doors
- Evacuate and meet at the evacuation rally point (Nutting Hall loading dock)
- Assist emergency personnel
In Case of a Minor Chemical Spill/Release
- Call David Torrey (1-3372)
- Use a Laboratory Spill Kit to clean spills
- Repeatedly wash spill area
- Contain clean-up material and dispose of properly
