SECURITY ISSUES


The U.S. Plant, Soil, & Nutrition Laboratory is considered a low risk, low sensitive federal facility, but remains vulnerable to petty criminal activities and target for demonstrations


Security issues may include
  • Theft of private or government property
  • Vandalism
  • Suspicious persons or activies
  • Demonstrations
  • Any other security problems

Non-emergency situations

Emergency situation
  1. Call 911

Identification cards must be worn at all times and visible to all personnel

If you observe someone committing a crime, DO NOT attempt to apprehend or detain the suspect. Try to memorize the physical appearance of the suspect and call 5-111 (Cornell police) or 911
