Scientists from the European Biological Control Laboratory, like entomologist René Sforza in Pantelleria, Italy above, are collecting bagrada bugs from all over the world to provide material for either conducting experiments on life history traits or for pinpointing the origin of the invasive bagrada populations in the U.S. and beyond.
