The 75th anniversary of the launch of the Smokey Bear public information campaign to raise awareness of the public's role in preventing forest fires is being celebrated at the USDA-National Agricultural Library in Beltsville, MD. The exhibit features artwork, posters, and physical items from the U.S. Forest Service Smokey Bear Collection, which is housed in NAL's Special Collections.
