Heat-sensitive/heat-sterile cotton flower. (Compare to heat-tolerant flower in D1015-10). The heat-sterile/heat-sensitive flower (shown here) exhibits shortened filaments, flat pollen sacs, and no pollen grains. The heat-tolerant flower (shown in D1015-10) exhibits long filaments and normal pollen development, producing fluffy-appearing pollen sacs.
