Scientists at the USDA/ARS Southern Regional Research Center (SRRC) collaborated with H&H Medical Corporation to develop TACgauze, for use in wound dressing to reduce blood loss. It is made of greige (raw, unbleached) cotton fiber, which is very absorbent.
