An adult Ganaspis wasp oviposites (deposits eggs) into a blueberry with spotted wing drosophila larva. When the eggs hatch, the wasp larvae eat the SWD larvae, before emerging as young adults. If successfully established, the wasp could help fruit growers dial back their insecticide use against SWD.
