Pacific West Area Business Operations Meeting (BOM)

From the Office of the Area Director

On behalf of Liz Berney:

Hi folks. I'm looking forward to our PWA BOM session on Managing Virtually. I would like to tailor the session to better meet your needs.  I would greatly appreciate you answering a few questions.

Please send your responses back to me by Jan. 15th.

1. What have you personally found challenging about working virtually?

2. If you manage staff, what have you found challenging with regard to managing virtually?

3. What have you found helps keep people connected? (e.g., regular group meetings, one on ones, coffee hours, chatting during the day....)

4. Have you had any difficulty with holding folks accountable? What strategies have you tried? (For those who don't manage, have you had difficulty with peers responding to you, getting into contact with your boss?).

5. What kinds of questions do you have about managing/working virtually? (e.g., platforms to use? apps that help? tools? ways to stay connected? best practices with regard ...?)

6. Anything else you would like me to address? Hear from your peers about?

Many Thanks!

Liz
