*The mission of the WWQL, http://wwql.wsu.edu includes developing new methods of evaluating quality characteristics of doughs and flours, evaluating milling and baking qualities of thousands of wheat samples each year from breeding programs throughout the Western region, and research the biochemical and genetic basis of wheat quality. Objectives: increase and improve wheat utilization, increase the nutrient density and healthfulness of wheat, protect global genetic resources. |
