This page is a work in progress, but here's a link to an excellent blog by Biologist Michael Eisen at the University of California, Berkeley that I encourage all to read. It's based on a talk he gave at the Commonwealth Club of California titled Reinventing Scientific Communication that you can listen to here.  Michael is the co-founder of the Public Library of Science. My first open-access paper was published on PLoS One in 2020, which is a hint of where I'm headed.  Here's a boycott that I've joined with thousands to other scientists that might interest you.
