The Locke lab is interested in crop-environment interactions, particularly soybean abiotic stress responses. We study G × E interactions among diverse soybean germplasm and aim to identify mechanisms that determine stress tolerance and seed composition. Our research incorporates field- and lab-based experimentation with the goal of translating fundamental knowledge into crop improvement.
