Research Interests:

  • Biogeochemical and microbial ecology in wetland (freshwater and tidal), riparian, and coastal ocean ecosystems.
  • Ecosystem services, ecology, and conservation in aquatic and forest ecosystems.
  • Pollinator ecology and pollination ecosystem services.
  • Geospatial analysis, ecosystem modeling, scientific data science and management.
  • Climate change and human impacts in aquatic and integrated aquatic/agricultural ecosystems.
