Dustin Hancock is a Biological Science Laboratory Technician and has worked for USDA-ARS since 2023. He currently supports Dr. Nina Shishkoff in the oomycete program at FDWSRU. He is presently assisting with studying downy mildews of ornamental plants and examining pathways of spread of new oomycete diseases in nurseries.

Previously, he has worked as a Physical Science Technician with USDA-ARS and conducted research on plant protection particle films, sunburn mechanisms, ozone degradation effects, and the relationship between plant vigor and water stress. Dustin also previously owned City Harvest Urban Farm which provided vegetables to local restaurants and co-ops.
