Research Chemist
I grew up in Maryland and Southern Ohio where I spent my formative years working for my uncle on a diversified farm where cattle and tobacco were the main cash “crops”. I serve as Lead Scientist for a project entitled “Improved Management of Nutrients, Water, Agrochemicals, and Energy to Enhance Agriculture System Sustainability” that is focused on developing a better understanding of Midwestern livestock-cropping systems for improved productivity and reduced environmental impact. My interests centering around swine production with a special interest in diets and gas emissions. I am a chemist/microbiologist by training.
