Biography and Research
Paulette Smith has been a Physical Science Aid at NCAUR, USDA-ARS, Peoria, IL since 1987. Paulette studied Chemistry at Illinois Central College. Paulette works with Dr. James Xu and a team of scientists conducting research on engineering new green polymers composites from agricultural commodities and analyzes the structure-function relationships of polymers and polymer blends.
