Research Interests:
•• Better understanding of plant response to abiotic stresses to improve crop production
•• Better understanding of how plants use resources (light, water, and nutrients) to improve crop production efficiency
•• Develop field based, high throughput phenotyping platforms and sensors for use in field studies to aid in crop physiology research
•• Identify physiological traits that are greatly impacted by abiotic stress and contribute to reduced crop performance for genetic improvement of crops
