Clarissa Boschiero is a Research Biologist Computational (Research Associate) in the Animal Genomics and Improvement Laboratory, ARS, USDA, in Beltsville, MD. She has experience with animal and plant genomics research, and her scientific focus areas include bioinformatics, high-throughput data analysis, functional genomics, development of genomic tools and databases, and study of genetic variants. Her main research priority is to generate innovative discoveries from the interpretation of genomics data and make multiomics data accessible to researchers using bioinformatics tools and thus to improve the productivity and sustainability of animal production and agriculture.
