Biological Science Technician

Mike works as a research technician under Sugar Beet Geneticist Dr. Rachel Naegele and is responsible for general molecular biology lab activities and greenhouse operations with the goal of improving disease resistance and drought tolerance of sugar beets. Mike graduated with a M.S. in Biology from Northern Michigan University and spent time working in corn breeding and seed production before joining the SBRU in 2021.
