Position Description 

As a Hydrologic Technician for our Unit, my role is to assist with data collection, equipment maintenance, sample collection, and sample processing. My time is split between the soil and water teams. In the hydrology lab, I assist with filtering samples and other tasks, while in the soil lab I process soil cores, which involves grinding, cutting, wet sieving, and dry sieving samples. When in the field, I am either collecting soil, water, or crop samples, running infiltration experiments, or maintaining and installing field equipment.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, thrifting, audiobooks, and exploring new places.
