Mission

The mission of the Animal Health Genomics Research Unit is to investigate the genomics and molecular biology of host-pathogen interactions in livestock, and identify strategies for reducing the impact of infectious diseases in cattle, swine, and sheep.
The Animal Health Genomics is located in Clay Center, NE and is part of the Plains Area.
The Acting Research Leader is Carol Chitko-Mckown.
