Eating Behavior Laboratory |
The Children's Eating Laboratory, located inside the Metabolic Research Unit, provides a controlled but child-friendly environment in which researchers can study the eating behaviors, food preferences, and eating interactions of infants, children, and their families.
The brightly decorated Eating Laboratory dining room contains height-adjustable tables and chairs and can be divided into two separate spaces using a floor to ceiling sound-insulated divider. An observation room adjacent to the dining room is equipped with a two-way mirror as well as devices for video and sound recording, editing, and analysis.
