Support for the research conducted at the USDA/ARS Children's Nutrition Research Center is a wise investment, because scientific discoveries continue to underscore the importance of nutrition both for growth and development during childhood and for health maintenance in adult life.

The Children's Nutrition Research Center has been, and continues to be, a world leader in nutrition research. It is the best-equipped facility of its kind in the nation.

We are fortunate to live in a time when we have so much information at our disposal to help us nurture healthy, happy children. The Children's Nutrition Research Center welcomes the opportunity to add to that knowledge.

 

The Children's Nutrition Research Center (CNRC) is an unique cooperative venture between Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children's Hospital, and the United States Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Research Service (USDA - ARS).   It is one of six USDA - ARS human nutrition research centers in the country.
