Objective:
Improve nutrition and management of broilers during production in order to optimize enteric health, reproduction and growth; minimize incidence, prevalence, and persistence of foodborne pathogens; for optimal bird well-being and end-product quality.
Approach:
The cooperators will conduct research that encompasses resource and energy conservation, environmental sustainability, production efficiency, bird health and welfare, product quality and food safety.
