Objective:
Develop and test application devices and methods for practical field delivery of new treatments for citrus diseases developed by cooperators in grant project.
ARS SY will design, build and test treatment delivery devices and methods intended for deployment in commercial agriculture.
Approach:
Commercially available injection and application devices will be modified and new devices developed to apply treatment substances produced by cooperators for citrus diseases at commercial agricultural scales. Devices will be tested for treatment delivery effectiveness using tracing agents and treatment substances in test citrus plants.
