Objective:
The objective of the first project is to evaluate fungicides and genetic resistance for Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) and DON management. The objective of the second project is to perform a national survey of Fusarium fungicide sensitivity to monitor for potential fungicide resistance issues.
Approach:
In the first project, a Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) Management Coordinated Project will be implemented in Michigan following standard protocols. In the second project, we will work with the cooperator PI at University of Delaware and our colleagues to conduct a national survey of Fusarium fungicide sensitivity.
