Objective:
To improve our understanding of biotic and abiotic factors that control carbon, energy, water, and greenhouse gas fluxes and budgets for Southern Plains agroecosystems.

Approach:
ARS will conduct integrated, multidisciplinary, multi-scale research using micrometeorological, ecological, agricultural, physiological approaches. The research will include field observations, spectral measurements at multiple scales and with multiple technologies, GIS analysis, and modeling.
