Objective:
Enable the BLM to have ARS provide technical and subject matter expertise and assist BLM staff with improved experimental monitoring design, data collection, data analysis and report/publication writing, to better inform and promote land management decisions in the Great Basin and Mojave deserts in eastern Nevada.

Approach:
Collaborate with the BLM to develop and implement project appropriate monitoring design, data collection, and data analysis to support the restoration of public lands of the Great Basin and Mojave deserts in eastern Nevada. Collaborate with the BLM to ensure monitoring design adequately addresses resource management questions and project/program requirements. Collaborate with BLM to document, report and disseminate findings. Provide annual monitoring information for entry into agency databases. Collaborate with the BLM to plan and propose implementation and monitoring projects that address resource management challenges and opportunities and that will support better informed restoration and land management decisions for public lands in eastern Nevada.
