Research Project: Support and Enhancement of CEAP Databases

Location: Agroecosystems Management Research

Project Number: 5030-13000-012-013-A
Project Type: Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Oct 1, 2022
End Date: Sep 30, 2024

Objective:
1. Provide the enhancement of the STEWARDS database for data capture, archival, and access. 2. Provide support to utilize the ARCGIS server systems for data archival. 3. Enhance data visualization tools for entering, screening, and displaying data. 4. Provide support for the effective use of watershed scale data for analysis of water quality assessments.

Approach:
This effort supports the database efforts on water quality and agricultural practices ranging from plot, field, landscape, to watershed across the United States. The effort encompasses the ongoing projects from the Conservation Effect Assessment Program (CEAP) and the Long-term Agroecological Research (LTAR) program to provide a continual improvement in the methods to collect, archive, and retrieve data from integrated databases for the assessment of the impacts on the natural resources (soil, water, and air) across a range of scales.
