Objective:
The specific objective of the project is to evaluate 900 grain samples from 90 diverse hemp accessions for protein and fatty acid content.
Approach:
Hemp accessions were grown in replicated field plots in 2022 and 2023. Grain samples from at least three plants in each of three replicates will be collected and cleaned. Samples will be sent to David Gang and Phil Bates at Washington State University for protein and fatty acid analysis.
