Objective:
Develop a high throughput Salmonella pathogenicity assay by modifying the gentamicin protection assay for next generation sequencing. The Cooperator will collect and analyze data for the development of a single-cell DNAseq based version of the gentamicin protection assay.
Approach:
A high throughput version of the gentamicin protection assay will be designed based on Single cell DNA Sequencing for screening the pathogen city of hundreds of Salmonella strains simultaneously.
