Objective:
In support of the national efforts to improve soil health measurements and soil carbon stock calculations, Cooperator will hire and supervise a post-doctoral research fellow to cooperate on laboratory analysis and data analysis of soil samples.
Approach:
Cooperator will hire a post-doctoral research fellow to oversee soil health and soil carbon laboratory analysis of existing and incoming soil samples and collaborate on data analysis and publication. ARS will provide salary and benefits for the postdoctoral fellow and the Cooperator will provide soil samples and soil texture analysis.
