Objective:
This project focuses on coordinating and leveraging phenotypic and genomic resources to enable more efficient genomics assisted breeding in hard winter wheat.
Approach:
We will curate historical genotypic and phenotypic data from regional nurseries for use in predictive modeling and develop predictive model pipelines for genomic selection, quantitative trait loci, and predictive crossing analytics to support breeders in breeding for FHB resistance.
