Objective:
This Cooperator will serve as one of our external experts in Nova categorization systems who will evaluate all potential foods and beverages to be included in our intervention menu. Cooperator will also collaborate with USDA PI to jointly develop survey focused on consumer perception and understanding of food processing and influences of processing on consumer decisions.
Approach:
Cooperator will complete series of online questionnaires verifying how specific foods, beverages, and ingredients are categorized according to the Nova system and will collaborate in write-up of subsequent publication of intervention menu designs.
Cooperator will join working group calls with USDA PI and other collaborators to contribute to survey design and development, will participate in survey beta-testing, and will assist with survey recruitment. Cooperator will collaborate in subsequent presentations and publications of study data.
