Objective:
The long-term goal of the proposed project is the development of a resilient, year-round, lipid based biofuel and bio products supply chain in the southeast U.S. (SE US). This supply chain will derive from a winter based oilseed crop grown in rotation with cotton, peanuts, and other traditional spring/summer crops.
Approach:
We will use a multi-disciplinary academic, industry, and end user approach comprising of crop production, engineering, natural resource conservation, and bio-product development.
