Objective:
Develop and release new peanut varieties with value-added traits that are adapted for optimal performance in Oklahoma and Texas.

Approach:
Traditional breeding practices will be used to develop advanced peanut breeding lines. Agronomic performance and disease resistance will be evaluated in field trials across Oklahoma and in some locations in Texas. The cooperator will assist in conducting these field trials.
