Objective:
The objective of this project is to further develop and coordinate a network of Federal BSL-4 high containment laboratory and other related agricultural research facilities to advance institutional cooperation and knowledge sharing.
Approach:
To address scientific partnerships and collaborations, knowledge sharing, emergency response and sample sharing with network members, specifically Australia, Germany, United Kingdom (UK), in addition to the United States (US) and Canada. The network will develop a means for providing collective advice and guidance for decision makers to achieve a highly trained collaborative workforce able to respond to emerging issues.
