Objective:
This research is part of the larger Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) management coordinated project, established to determine the efficacy of the fungicides to control FHB and DON. These fungicides may provide additional and effective FHB control options and reduce Fusarium-associated mycotoxins in small grain cereals.
Approach:
In Minnesota we plan to establish the integrated management trial (IM) and the uniform fungicide trials (UFT) as outlined in the USWBSI management coordinated project standard protocol for hard red spring wheat (HRSW), with the field experiments to be established at two locations, Saint Paul and
Crookston.
