Objective:
1. Evaluate fungicide and genetic resistance on Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) and DON.
2. Compare fungicide to current compounds.
3. Generate new data to quantify the economic benefit of FHB and DON management programs.
4. Generate field data to validate and advance the FHB risk prediction models.
Approach:
Multilocation field trials will be established at two locations in Pennsylvania for the integrated management (IM) and uniform fungicide trials (UFT). Trials will be conducted following the defined standard protocol, with some modifications. Data from trials will be shared with the MGMT_CP and
incorporated into extension programming in Pennsylvania.
