Objective:
To compare the impact of different management practices in a long-term organic crop rotation study in Eastern Nebraska.
Approach:
Collect and assess data to consider agronomic and economic opportunities in organic production systems to produce food-grade crops that could meet in-state food demand. Assess environmental quality of crop rotations utilized in the long-term, including impacts on weed, pest and soil communities. Transfer the field management of this long-term study.
