Objective:
Increase our understanding of the extent of vegetation type conversions and the contributions of climate, disturbance, and management actions individually or in concert.
Approach:
The objective will be accomplished by:
1) providing scientific data and analyses to the land management community.
2) providing reports that will allow managers to understand the influences of climate, wildfire and land management decisions on sagebrush steppe ecosystem dynamics.
3) providing outreach materials for stakeholders to interpret scientific results of the causes and effects of vegetation transitions in the sagebrush steppe.
