Objective:
The objective of this cooperative agreement is to support the development and impact of the Global Conservation Consortia (GCC) of Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI).

Approach:
To accomplish this objective, the cooperator and ARS will work together to strengthen the efforts of the GCC by promoting participation in GCC metacollections, encouraging development of new Family or Genus level GCCs, and identifying and prioritizing research and conservation needs among woody plants within the GCC metacollections.
