Objective:
The objective is to develop a site use precision agricultural techniques to optimize management of soilborne diseases and improve strawberry fruit production.
Approach:
Research plots have been established to develop a site specific approach for management of soilborne plant pathogens. Working with collaborators, different aspects of precision agricultural techniques to evaluate plant vigor, strawberry fruit production and distribution of soilborne plant pathogens are part of these trials. This agreement will support participation in this project by providing technical support and a post-doc positions to assist with management of the field trials and analysis of the data.
