Objective:
The main research project objective is to enhance the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (Version 2) in coordination with Cooperator. Additional research project objectives are to: (1) build updated climate database for use with cloud-based and stand-alone versions of RUSLE2 in coordination with Cooperator.
Approach:
The framework in support of the development of the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation, Version 2 (RUSLE2) integrates elements of a comprehensive research plan that entails additional RUSLE2 technology programming development through the following tasks:
USDA-ARS Tasks to be completed:
Task 1. Allow multiple users of the RUSLE2 web application or stand-alone RUSLE2 software to run from the same database.
Task 2. Update current RUSLE2 climate records to include the latest available, criteria-meeting climate data.
