Objective:
The objectives below directly support Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Greenhouse Gas Emission Action Area 6. Research will be coordinated as appropriate with aligned efforts on Action Area 6 in ERS and NASS. Objective 1: Inventory, assess, and characterize the observational data describing agricultural conservation practices that are available for modeling at national and sub-national scales (NP211 Sub-objectives 3.B, 4.A; NP216 Sub-objectives 2.A, 2.B, 3.C)

Approach:
The Co-PIs will share the resources to fund a post-doctoral researcher to support the applied research efforts of this project. The post-doctoral researcher will be located either in West Lafayette or in Ames, IA.
